Why Visit Jago Temple?

Jago Temple (Indonesian: Candi Jago, also known historically as Jajaghu) is a 13th-century Singhasari-era temple located about 22 km from Malang. The site is renowned for its elegant terraced base and narrative reliefs depicting Hindu-Buddhist lore with a distinctive Javanese wayang style.

Historic legacy: commonly associated with King Wisnuwardhana of the Singhasari Kingdom (r. 1248/49–1268).
